B. For RBTs & Aspiring Clinicians

  • Non-Disclosure: You are strictly prohibited from downloading, recording, or sharing HLG case studies, videos, or curriculum materials.

  • Professionalism: In all forums and live sessions, you must never use real names or identifying details of clients you work with in your professional life.

  • Ethical Conduct: You acknowledge that your conduct here reflects your commitment to the BACB Ethics Code regarding confidentiality.

C. For BCBAs & Supervisors

  • Intellectual Property: You agree not to distribute or repurpose HLG’s proprietary curriculum for your own commercial use.

  • Clinical Privacy: You certify that any real-world scenarios discussed for educational purposes have been de-identified in accordance with HIPAA standards.

  • Leadership: You agree to model and enforce ethical data privacy for RBTs and parents within the HLG forums.

3. HIPAA & Non-Disclosure Statement

Important: Hickory Learning Group is an educational platform, not a "Covered Entity" as defined by HIPAA (since we do not provide direct healthcare services). However, because our community discusses clinical-style data, we require all members to adhere to HIPAA-standard confidentiality:

  • No PHI: You will not post Protected Health Information (PHI) such as full names, addresses, or specific identifying photos of children/clients.

  • Recording Prohibited: Recording "Live" workshops or synchronous learning sessions via third-party software is strictly prohibited to protect the privacy of the participants.
